Non poteva esserci location migliore di TriestEspresso per festeggiare il primo anno di Astoria Storm, la rivoluzionaria macchina per caffè che mette al centro la possibilità di personalizzare il caffè erogato e la gestualità di ogni barista.
La storia di Astoria Storm è iniziata proprio a Trieste, esattamente un anno fa, con la scelta di ambientare il video e le foto ufficiali della macchina nella zona del Porto Vecchio. Una scelta certamente non casuale perché Astoria Storm e Trieste hanno molto in comune.
Trieste è da oltre due secoli crocevia naturale di sbarchi e di commerci tra Oriente e Occidente, città cosmopolita, incrocio di culture e tradizioni, moltitudine di riti e miti quotidiani, che vanta un ricchissimo patrimonio legato al caffè. La centrale idrodinamica situata all’interno della zona portuale, che si intravede nel servizio fotografico, utilizzava il vapore per movimentare gru, montacarichi e ascensori. L’elemento del vapore è chiave anche per Astoria Storm, che l’ha reso asciutto in favore di una schiumatura del latte più liscia e soffice, perfetta per la latte art.
Questo forte legame darà dunque un sapore speciale, quest’anno, alla partecipazione di Astoria a questa importante fiera B2B dedicata all’intera filiera dell’industria del caffè espresso in programma dal 25 al 27 ottobre a Trieste Expo. L’occasione perfetta per celebrare il compleanno del modello “Barista Attitude” e del tour #TheStormIsComing con cui Astoria ha portato la macchina in tutto il mondo: dai principali paesi europei (Italia, Germania, Spagna, Regno Unito) fino all’Australia e alla Tailandia, facendola conoscere a baristi, torrefattori e appassionati.
Tra le iniziative ideate dall’azienda veneta di Susegana spicca la festa di giovedì sera 25 ottobre, per cui è stato coniato anche l’hashtag #HappyBirthdayStorm, che avrà luogo presso l’Hops Beerstrò in via Cavana 15/A, e sarà aperta non solo a dipendenti, amici e clienti, ma anche ai visitatori di TriestEspresso che riusciranno a ritirare uno dei 50 biglietti-pass di accesso presso lo stand di Astoria (19-21) durante la prima giornata della manifestazione. Astoria Storm celebrates its birthday at TriestEspresso, in the city where it all began
There could not have been a better location than TriestEspresso to celebrate the first birthday of Astoria Storm, the revolutionary coffee machine which makes the possibility of customizing every coffee dispensed and the barista’s freedom of expression it’s primary focus.
Astoria Storm’s history began right here in Trieste exactly one year ago, with the decision to set the official video and photos of the machine in the Porto Vecchio area. It was certainly not a decision made by chance, because Astoria Storm and Trieste have much in common.
For more than two centuries, Trieste has been a natural trade crossroads between the East and the West, a cosmopolitan city, a cross of culture and tradition, a multitude of rhythms and everyday legends that boasts a rich heritage in connection with coffee. The hydrodynamic plant located in the port area, which can be glimpsed in the photo shoot, used steam to power cranes, hoists and elevators. The element of steam is also key to Astoria Storm, which dried it out in favor of a smoother and softer milk foam, perfect for latte art.
This strong bond will therefore provide a special flavor this year for Astoria’s participation in this important B2B show dedicated to the entire espresso coffee industry supply chain, scheduled to be held at Trieste Expo from October 25th through the 27th. It is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the birthday of the “Barista Attitude” model and the #TheStormIsComing tour on which Astoria took the machine all over the world: from the major European countries (Italy, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom) all the way to Australia and Thailand, introducing it to baristas, roasters and enthusiasts.
