Proseguono gli eventi dedicati a chi ama il caffè e il mondo Dalla Corte. L’appuntamento per l’11 e il 12 luglio è rivolto ai distributori tedeschi e danesi. Una giornata tra teoria e pratica sul mondo del caffè a cui seguirà un tour tra alcune delle caffetterie più interessanti di quella che si può definire un’importante città del caffè.
Questo in sintesi è l’appuntamento di Coffee and Talks, l’evento creato per chi ama il caffè e il mondo Dalla Corte, in programma martedì 11 e mercoledì 12 luglio ad Amburgo presso la sede di Dalla Corte Deutschland. Il calendario prevede approfondimenti e workshop tenuti da importanti personalità del mondo dei baristi. Apre i lavori Söntke Visser, CEO della filiale tedesca, seguito dal giovane e dinamico team italiano a illustrare le numerose attività in programma per il 2017 e le anticipazioni per l’anno a venire, con interessanti prodotti quali le dc pro Rebel, vere opere d’arte realizzate a mano dal designer Massimo Dibitonto.
Protagonista della giornata è la macchina espresso Mina, a cominciare dall’esclusiva tecnologia DFR – Digital Flow Regulation che gestisce elettronicamente il flusso dell’acqua e permette di impostare la curva di estrazione più indicata per ogni caffè. Si proseguirà con l’app dedicata che permette il controllo di una o più macchine presenti nel punto vendita, aprendo le porte a un concetto di locale innovativo, incentrato sul sistema modulare Mina SmartBar.
Nel pomeriggio i Coffee Pro Gordon Howell e Jim Olejnik spetta il compito di mostrare la differenza tra pressione e flusso e l’importanza di quest’ultimo nell’estrazione ad espresso, alternando teoria e pratica con assaggi dello stesso caffè estratto con diversi profili di flusso, nonché di singole origini e miscele portate dai partecipanti.
Coffee Tour
La giornata del 12 luglio sarà itinerante e prevede un tour tra alcuni dei migliori coffee shop della città. Amburgo infatti ha molto da dire sul caffè: nel 1677 ha visto l’apertura della prima caffetteria e nel 1887 della borsa del caffè. Quindi merita, di certo, una visita per locali.

Coffee and Talks Workshop and coffee tour in Hamburg
On 11 and 12 July, German and Danish distributors are invited to the latest in a series of events for lovers of coffee and the Dalla Corte world.
On Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 July, the headquarters of Dalla Corte Deutschland in Hamburg will play host to the latest of the Coffee and Talks events for lovers of coffee and the Dalla Corte world. A day dedicated to coffee theory and practice will be followed by a tour of some of the most interesting cafés in a city that is renowned for its coffee culture. Leading figures from the barista scene will conduct workshops and in-depth discussions. The event will be opened by Söntke Visser, the CEO of the German branch. The young, dynamic Italian team will then present the numerous activities that are in the pipeline for 2017 and offer a preview of the plans for the year ahead, which involve interesting products such as the DC Pro Rebel selection, real works of art produced by hand by the designer Massimo Dibitonto.
The star of the day will be the Mina espresso machine featuring exclusive Digital Flow Regulation (DFR) technology, which manages the flow of water electronically and allows the most suitable extraction curve to be set for each coffee. There will then be a look at the dedicated app. It can be used to control one or more machines as part of an innovative coffee shop management concept revolving around the Mina SmartBar modular system.
In the afternoon, the Coffee Pros Gordon Howell and Jim Olejnik will explain the difference between pressure and flow, as well as the importance of the latter in espresso extraction. Theoretical discussions will be alternated with practice and tastings of the same coffee after it has been extracted with different flow profiles, as well as of single-origin coffees and blends brought by the participants.
Coffee Tour
On 12 July, there will be a tour of some of the finest coffee shops in the city. It promises to be a valuable experience, given Hamburg’s rich coffee history: its first coffee shop opened in 1677 and trading began in its coffee exchange in 1887.
