Mazzetti d’Altavilla ha sede in un antico monastero immerso fra le colline del MonferratoQui sorgono il Parco Storico con la consacrata Cappella Votiva “La Rotonda” (1808), gli impianti produttivi, la scenografica Cantina di Invecchiamento, la Galleria della Grappa che presenta rari cimeli e bottiglie uniche. Tali luoghi, unitamente all’esposizione fotografica “Il Monferrato nello Spirito”, sono visitabili attraverso il Tour guidato emozionale effettuabile su prenotazione accompagnato da degustazioni di distillati e delle tante eccellenze di Mazzetti d’Altavilla, tutte reperibili nel fascinoso seminterrato chiamato “Grappa Store”, aperto 7 giorni su 7. ABBINAMENTI GASTRONOMICI & RISTORAZIONE

Come si degusta la Grappa? Innanzitutto utilizzando il calice adatto e seguendo alcuni accorgimenti per apprezzarne al meglio le qualità, in modo responsabile. Il Distillato Italiano non è soltanto un ottimo dopo pasto ma può anche essere abbinato a specialità culinarie, dall’antipasto al dolce o essere utilizzato per fantasiosi drink. Tutte le frontiere del più moderno e variegato uso degli spirits italiani sono alla base degli eventi presso “Materia Prima”, i riqualificati locali che ospitano ogni weekend e su prenotazione pranzi e cene, appuntamenti di business e svago, cerimonie e momenti conviviali, grazie anche alla disponibilità di un suggestivo spazio per eventi: il “Pianoramico”.

Mazzetti d’Altavilla, a partire dal prodotto principe della Grappa, crea ogni anno la sua “Grappassion”, opera che contiene tante curiosità sui distillati presentando tutte le referenze e novità della Collezione. Si spazia dalle grappe giovani, invecchiate e riserve, gli speciali Brandy, invecchiati anche per ben 35 anni. Grande attenzione anche verso il nuovo whisky, i gin, gli amari, il bitter e i liquori a minor gradazione alcolica, la frutta al liquore, gli zuccherini spiritosi e le golosità come i Cioccolatini alla Grappa e al liquore. Almost two hundred years of history, seven generations who have come and gone and just one passionate goal: obtaining excellent spirits only from locally grown Piedmontese pomaces. This is the main characteristic of Mazzetti d’Altavilla, one of the oldest distilleries in the North-West of Italy. It has made its mission to distill each single vine by making eco-sustainable environmental choices and infusing its spirits and the packaging with a combination of grap- pa and art, with a touch of femininity as evidenced in the last generations. Tradition and modernity meet the future thanks to events aiming at increasing people’s appreciation of Italian distillates.

GUIDED TOURS

Mazzetti Grappa House is situated inside an ancient  monastery. Here you can find the Historical Park with the consecrated Votive Chapel “La Rotonda” (1808), the distillery, the spectacular Ageing Cellar, the Grappa Gallery which presents rare relics and unique bottles. These places, together with the photographic exhibition “Monferrato in the Spirit”, can be visited through the emotional guided tour which can be made by reservation and to be accompanied by some tastings of distillates and excellences created by Mazzetti d’Altavilla available inside the fascinating cellar called “Grappa Store”, open every day. FOOD PAIRING AND RESTAURANT

How to drink Grappa? First of all you need a suitable glass and some advice to appreciate responsibly its qualities in the best way. This Italian Distillate represents not only a great after-dinner drink but it can also accompany your special meals, from appetizer to dessert or be used to prepare creative drinks. All the most modern and varied ways to use it are the object of the events held at “Materia Prima” (“Raw Material”), the restored spaces that host, every weekend and on request, lunches and dinners, business and leisure events, celebrations, ceremonies and social occasions, thanks to the possibility to use a very evocative place for events: the “Pianoramico”.

Starting from their flagship, Grappa, Mazzetti d’Altavilla creates every year “Grappassion”, a work that contains a lot of information on distilled spirits and presents all the products of the Distillery as young or aged grappas or special Brandies, also 35 years aged. But there are also gins, the new whisky, bitter spirits, liqueurs with a lower alcohol content, liqueur-flavoured fruit, sweet sugars with spirit and delicacies such as grappa and liqueur chocolates.
