QUALITÀ E TRADIZIONE MADE IN ITALY DAL 1950

È nel 1950 che il fondatore Azeglio, chiamato simpaticamente “Mister Espresso”, inizia il suo viaggio nel mondo del Caffè di qualità, diventando subito un punto di riferimento per molti bar della capitale. Negli anni Ottanta Azeglio viene affiancato dapprima dai figli Paolo, Fabio e Monica, e successivamente dal genero Francesco Geracitano, che ne diventa il successore e ancora oggi guida insieme a Monica la Torrefazione. La qualità di Mister Espresso rimane così custodita dalle generazioni successive come un patrimonio prezioso.

TANTA QUALITÀ CERTIFICATA, ANCHE BIO E FAIRTRADE

È attorno all’idea dell’Espresso perfetto che Caffè Haiti Roma ha creato un processo produttivo messo a punto e perfezionato in tanti anni di esperienza e di appassionata ricerca. Un sistema esclusivo dove solo l’attenta regia delle singole fasi di lavorazione rende possibile l’elevato standard di qualità. A coronamento di una lunga storia come Azienda da sempre impegnata nel settore del Caffè Espresso di Qualità, Caffè Haiti Roma è tra le prime torrefazioni in Italia ad aver voluto ed ottenuto il triplice riconoscimento come “Azienda con Sistema Integrato Certificato”, che comprende la certificazione del Sistema di Gestione Qualità DIN EN ISO 9001, del Sistema Gestione Ambientale EN ISO 1400, e del Sistema di Gestione per la Salute e la Sicurezza nei Luoghi di Lavoro ISO 45001. Negli anni 2000 si realizza un sogno di Francesco: dare vita ad una miscela di caffè BIO/Fairtrade. Dopo lunghe e ripetute prove viene creata una eccellente miscela, di qualità superiore, che risponde alla sensibilità della torrefazione di un mondo etico e sostenibile. Nasce BioCaffè: 100% Biologico 100% Equosolidale, coltivato in assoluta assenza di sostanze non naturali e nel rispetto dell’ambiente e dei coltivatori. BioCaffè è stato tra le prime proposte Italiane nel delicato mondo del Biologico e del Fairtrade, e da subito ha avuto un grandissimo successo: ha raggiunto importantissimi traguardi ed è certifico IEI quale Espresso Italiano di Qualità, oltre ad aver vinto la Medaglia d’Oro all’International Coffee Tasting Asia 2015.

Il perseguimento di un intento che mira all’eccellenza in tutti gli ambiti dell’attività si può raggiungere solo con il coinvolgimento e la valorizzazione di tutte le risorse umane presenti nell’azienda e soprattutto nella condivisione di quei valori comuni, che sono la vera forza dell’organizzazione.

MISTER ESPRESSO ACADEMY

A Caffè Haiti Roma piace condividere la passione per l’Espresso con tutti gli amatori, ed è per questo che si è associata all’Istituto Espresso Italiano che, insieme all’Istituto Internazionale Assaggiatori Caffè, rappresenta il massimo dell’autorità in merito alla conoscenza, lo studio e l’assaggio dell’Espresso Italiano. Le attività didattiche promosse comprendono una gamma di corsi di formazione, partendo da seminari brevi di approfondimento, per arrivare a corsi più strutturati per conseguire la patente Assaggiatori Caffè (M1), o il titolo di Espresso Italiano Specialist.

Caffè Haiti Roma’s founder Azeglio, aka “Mister Espresso”, started his journey in the world of quality Coffee back in 1950, and became at once a reference point for many bars in Rome. In the Eighties, Azeglio was helped with the management by his sons and daughter Paolo, Fabio and Monica first, and then by his son-in-law Francesco, who leads today the Roasting company together with Monica. Mister Espresso quality is so treasured by the next generations as a precious asset.

SO MUCH CERTIFIED QUALITY, ALSO ORGANIC AND FAIRTRADE

Starting from the concept of a perfect Espresso Caffè Haiti Roma has developed, implemented and improved a production process along many years of experience and passionate research. In this exclusive system, it is only through the careful direction of each processing stage that its very high-quality standard can be achieved. As result for the Company’s long business history in the field of High-Quality Espresso Coffee, Caffè Haiti Roma is among the first coffee roasting enterprises in Italy to have strongly wanted and achieved the triple recognition as “Company with integrated DQS Certification”, which includes the Certification of the Quality Management System DIN EN ISO 9001, of the Environment Management System EN ISO 14001, and of the Management System for Health and Safety at the Workplace ISO 45001.

In the early 2000s one of Francesco’s dreams came true: creating a BIO/Fairtrade coffee blend. After long and continuous attempts an excellent blend was created, of superior quality, able to comply with the company’s attention to an ethical and sustainable world. BioCaffè was welcomed: 100% Organic, 100% Fairtrade, grown without using non-natural substances and respecting both the environment and farmers. BioCaffè has been among the first Italian proposals in the delicate world of Organic and Fairtrade, and has reached at once a great success: it has achieved important goals and has been certified by IEI as Italian Quality Espresso, besides winning the Golden Medal at the International Coffee Tasting Asia 2015.

Caffè Haiti Roma loves to share its passion for Espresso with all the coffee enthusiasts, this is the reason why it is partner of the Italian Espresso Institute that, in cooperation with the International Institute of Coffee Tasters, represents the highest authority in terms of Italian Espresso knowledge, study and tasting. The didactics consists of a variety of courses, from simple seminars to license courses to get the tasting license (M1), or to become Italian Espresso Specialist.
